1) Who we are & Contact
Nomiqon (“we/us”) operates in Germany. Postal locality: Düsseldorf, Germany. Contact (privacy): legal@nomiqon.com.
For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we act as a data controller for personal data we determine purposes and means for (e.g., waitlist emails).
2) Scope
This Policy explains how we collect, use, and share personal data when you visit our website, join the waitlist, contact us, or use pre-launch features.
3) Data we collect
- Contact data: email address, name (if provided) for the waitlist or support.
- Usage data: pages viewed, interactions, approximate location (from IP), device/browser information (via analytics or server logs).
- Communication data: messages you send to support/legal.
- AI prompts/outputs (pre-launch): content you input to generate brand ideas; avoid entering confidential data.
- Cookies: see Cookie Policy (to be published).
4) How we use data (purposes & legal bases)
- Waitlist & updates (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR – consent): to email you about launch and product news if you subscribe.
- Provide & improve the Service (Art. 6(1)(b)/(f)): operate core features; analyze usage to improve stability, safety, and UX (legitimate interests).
- Security & fraud prevention (Art. 6(1)(f)): detect abuse, enforce limits, protect the Service and users.
- Legal compliance (Art. 6(1)(c)): keep records and comply with applicable laws.
You can withdraw consent at any time (for example, unsubscribe from emails).
5) Retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above, then delete or anonymize it. Typical retention: waitlist emails until launch + a reasonable period, support emails as needed to resolve issues, and logs for short security windows unless required longer.
6) Sharing & Processors
We do not sell personal data. We may share with:
- Service providers (processors): hosting, analytics, email delivery, security tools—only under contracts and instructions from us.
- Authorities: when legally required.
- Business transfers: in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to safeguards.
We will publish a Sub-processors list here: /legal/subprocessors/ (when available).
7) International transfers
If we transfer data outside the EEA/UK, we rely on lawful mechanisms such as adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) plus supplemental measures where appropriate.
8) Your rights (GDPR)
Subject to conditions and exceptions, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, data portability, and object. You can also withdraw consent at any time (e.g., unsubscribe). To exercise rights, contact: legal@nomiqon.com.
You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In Germany, see BfDI or your state DPA.
